Shortly before his father passed away, Pastor Cliff Lea pondered a verse tucked away in the 23rd chapter of Proverbs: “My son, give me your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways” (Proverbs 23:26). Taking from his Dad’s example, he spells out a host of lessons he is still learning from his father. In doing so, he also describes the benefits and vital importance of having a strong heart connection between parents and children. Read More>>
The quiet little town of Lankford was not used to the drama that descended on Southwest High this year. The arrest of a prominent high school athlete, the attempted suicide of another student, and the inner turmoil of others has everyone in an uproar. A desperate fight between falsehood and truth emerges to challenge the very souls of several young people caught in a Web of Deceit.
As Ben and James enter Central State University, the two friends find that their opposite worldviews lead to radically different choices. The twists and turns of their lives reveal how these choices bring very different results. One path leads to regret and self-destruction. The other path shows vividly that doing things God's way is always worth the wait.
There is a vast difference between mere faith and a faith that is at rest. My friend Cliff Lea, in his book In God We Trust, not only defines that difference but clearly explains how you can experience the peace, effectiveness and joy inherent in a life of trust. Cliff takes you by the hand and leads you, step by step, on what may be one of the most exciting journeys of your life.
